Description and uses
20C SHT
Non-alloyed hardened and tempered carbon steel ensures good resistance to fatigue and wear, hardness along with flexibility, a good surface finish and a lack of shape defects.
20C SVC Flapper
Non-alloyed hardened and tempered carbon steel is chemically and mechanically similar to 20C SHT, but is specifically developed and produced for compressor valves. This specification ensures increased mechanical properties, an excellent surface finish, excellent flatness, a low level of non-metallic inclusions, high resistance to fatigue under stress from impacts and bending.
