Services
PRECISINOX srl began its activity as a service center for steel strips, immediately starting a very important and significant collaboration with the Italian branch of the renowned Swedish steelworks ALLEIMA/SANDVIK; today we are the distributors (with warehouse) for small quantities of ALLEIMA/SANDVIK strips and wires.
- stainless steel strips for springs (ALLEIMA/SANDVIK 12R11 & 11R51 - AISI 301);
- stainless steel strips tempered with chrome (ALLEIMA/SANDVIK 7C27Mo2 - AISI 420);
- non-carbon alloy tempered steel strips (ALLEIMA/SANDVIK 20C & 15LM - AISI 1095 / AISI 1074);
- stainless steel wires for springs (ALLEIMA/SANDVIK 12R10 - AISI 302);
- the range of materials in stock is completed by annealed stainless steel strips (AISI 304 and 316/L).
The Company has its own warehouse which is constantly stocked with the ENTIRE standard production range of the above materials (please see the "products" page for a detailed list of the products handled).
We store strips in our warehouse at the steel mill's production width (300-350 mm max); a full complement of circular blade shears ("slitters") allows us to cut these strips to any width the customer desires: there are no predefined widths and each strip can be cut "to measure" as needed.
Depending on the thickness of the ribbon, we can cut ribbons as small as one millimeter wide.

We also have edge treatment lines to supply belts with deburred and/or rounded edges. We can also monitor and, if necessary, correct any deviations from straightness that may occur in the material, ensuring the straightest possible belts—an essential requirement for niche applications such as conveyor belts or doctor blades for textile and printing machines.
Naturally, the strips can also be sold in the available width (so-called "full width"): in rolls or cut into strips of any length. This solution is particularly useful for steel processing using "new technologies" such as laser, water, or plasma cutting, and chemical photo-blanking.
